The EDP League -Elite Development Program- is a higher competitive soccer league which offers a Fall, Late-Fall (U15-U19) and Spring seasons. The league follows the FIFA Laws of the Game. A flight winner is crowned after each season. There are no playoffs offered at this level. Teams playing EDP are primarily from NJ, PA, DE, MD and bordering states and are placed by geography and competitive level to accomplish the league mission of a good game every week with reasonable travel.
Teams are coached by professional paid trainers who have a minimum of a USSF valid license. All coaches and volunteers must undergo a background check and fulfil some mandatory training as required by the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association.
All players interested in joining a team in the EDP league must go through our tryout process. You may register for our tryouts here: https://www.roselleparksoccer.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1076977
Players who register to a team are committing to attend all practices and games and to participate in both the fall and spring seasons. Note that games are played "rain or shine" so long as the fiel is playable and there is no thunderstorm.
