WINTER LEAGUE


                                                                

The Roselle Park Travel teams continue training indoors throughout the winter season. They participate in a 10-game league at the Soccer Center in Somerset (also known as DTS), with fast-paced matches held on Saturdays and Sundays. Games are 40 minutes long and played 7v7 (six field players and one goalkeeper). Each team carries a roster of 12–14 players.

This high-tempo winter format is ideal for developing players' first touch, passing, quick decision-making, and overall intensity.

Teams are flighted based on age, gender, skill level, and overall team strength. The season runs from January through the first half of March and concludes with playoff games. All matches take place indoors on a small-sided turf field inside the facility’s climate-controlled "bubble."

Registration fees cover league and referee costs, trainer fee, supplies, insurance, and equipment.

   

    SUMMER LEAGUES

From June to August, travel teams practice outdoor and reinforce their skills by playing in a Summer League. Practices are held 1 to 2 days/week for 90 minutes. After the Summer Leagues are over, teams have the opportunity to play up to 3 friendly games.
