Roselle Park Soccer Club: COVID-19 Regulations
Updated January 2021
The following policies and guidelines apply to all Roselle Park Soccer Club (RPSC) home games, effective immediately, and remain in place until further notice. All participants (Players, Coaches, Referees, Parents and other spectators) are required to comply at all times.
COVID-19 Symptoms
No Player, Coach, Referee or Spectator should be present at any game if they exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19, or if they have a reasonable suspicion that they may have been exposed to someone who does, or are waiting for covid test results. Anyone planning to attend a game as a Player, Coach, Referee or Spectator should take their temperature before leaving home and should stay home if their temperature is higher than 100.4 degrees F.
Masks, Social Distancing and Hygiene
Anyone planning to attend a game as a Player, Coach, Referee or Spectator should wear a mask from the parking lot to the field, and from the field to the parking lot.
Spectators are to stay off the field and are not permitted on the premises, preferably in their car.
Coaches should continue to wear their masks if social distancing cannot be maintained.
Players are not required to wear masks on the field during practice or game, but may do so. When on the sidelines, players should wear masks and socially distance themselves from center line to goal line. Only players waiting to substitute should approach the center line.
No handshaking or physical contact between players, coaches and referees at the field.
No sharing of water bottles.
No spitting on the field.
Spectators should have no contact with the team after practice/game commences.
All should vacate the field immediately after the game, wearing masks and avoiding physical contact.
Enforcement
Coaches are to enforce compliance with the above regulation amongst their own Players, Parents and Spectators.
In the unlikely event anyone at the field does not comply they will be asked to correct their behavior; if they refuse they will be asked to leave the field.
